A beautiful barn wedding with a fun vegas style, Elvis twist!
Becka and Cole’s wedding day at The Daisy Farm in Jefferson City, Missouri was everything good about a Missouri barn wedding wrapped up into one day — relaxed, beautiful, and full of heart.
The morning was all the best kind of chaos, hustle and bustle in the best way the way. Becka got ready with her kids and family and wedding party tucked inside the cozy bridal suite at the farm, with soft window light pouring in. There were shoes and flowers and dresses everywhere, and you could just feel the excitement building without any rush.
This venue is the most beautiful space for pre-ceremony portraits, a stunning first look, and photos that come straight out of your dreams. The Daisy Farm is just made for this kind of wedding — wide open spaces, white fences, big skies. You don’t have to force anything here. Becka and Cole were so natural together — easy laughs, sweet moments, real connection — which made photographing them basically a dream.
One of the moments that hit the hardest was their first look. Cole’s reaction — seeing Becka for the first time, wiping his eyes — it was everything you want in a first look. Real emotion. Real love. That’s the stuff that makes a gallery unforgettable.
Now, MY FAVORITE PART about 15 minutes before the ceremony, we pulled off a little magic. We raced up into the barn loft, set up some atmosphere smoke and a backflash, and somehow squeezed out a few truly epic portraits before the guests even found their seats. It was a sprint (and yes, I was absolutely sweating by the time we got done), but it was so worth it. The way the light hit the smoke, the way the barn framed them perfectly — it turned into one of those shots you know you’ll be proud of for a long time. Definitely some of my favorite barn wedding photos I’ve ever created in Missouri.
THIS IS A MOMENT.
The ceremony took place right outside the barn, and if you think it was going to be anything but hilarious and personal, you’re wrong — because Elvis married them. A full-on Elvis impersonator, complete with the voice, the poses, the whole deal. It kept everyone laughing and loosened up any nerves, making the whole thing feel like a celebration from the very first “I do.”
Afterward, the reception rolled into the barn without skipping a beat. There were kids running across the grass, family members cracking jokes, hugs that turned into dances, and the kind of atmosphere you just can’t fake. Becka and Cole didn’t need over-the-top — they had their people, their story, and each other.
Their wedding was a reminder that the best days aren’t always about chasing a Pinterest-perfect timeline or holding out for a sunset — sometimes the real magic is already right in front of you, soft skies and all. And if you’re planning a barn wedding in Missouri, especially somewhere around Jefferson City, you honestly can’t go wrong with a venue like The Daisy Farm — and a day built around the people you love most.
